Let’s work together
services
Please note that all therapy services, discovery sessions, and supervision services are offered virtually for clients (ages 18+) located in California, New York, and Washington.
FOR INDIVIDUALS
-
Perhaps you’ve been feeling like it’s you versus yourself and you’re wondering if things can get better. Maybe you’re hoping to gain a sense of steadiness and compassion while you navigate life. If you’re looking for support — whether through concrete skills, compassionate deep diving into tough issues, or even a bit of humor — this is the right place.
In one-on-one, confidential sessions, I will work closely with you to identify and address your goals for therapy and how I might play a role in promoting your self-discovery and growth toward living the life you want to live. My integrative approach to individual therapy is informed by my expertise in evidence-based treatments for complex trauma and PTSD (including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Relational-Cultural Therapy, as well as psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches.
-
Do you have a specific issue or question you are hoping to explore further? Are you unsure about or unable to engage in several sessions of individual therapy? This is a great option for you.
Discovery sessions are not intended as treatment, but rather a one-time opportunity for you to dive deeper into a specific piece of your life that you’re hoping to get clarity on. Additionally, after our session, I will send you resources tailored to assisting you in exploring your presenting issue or question.
FOR couples
-
“Couples” can refer to any pairing of people, regardless of what you might label yourselves as - for example, partners, friends, spouses, or we-don’t-know-what-our-label-is. No matter what your label is, couples can find themselves stuck in the same patterns, whether that’s rehashing the same arguments, experiencing gridlock with big decisions, or just generally feeling disconnected. At the heart of our important relationships, we long to answer these fundamental questions: Do I matter to you? Will you be there for me when I need you? Am I safe with you? Let’s answer those together.
In confidential couples sessions, we will work together to find a new equilibrium by introducing different ways of communicating that can promote connection and intimacy. My integrative approach to couples therapy is informed by my expertise in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT) and Structural Couple Therapy.
-
I offer 8-week groups for couples to learn foundational skills for more effective communication and enhanced connection. These skills are grounded in Emotionally-Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT) and the Gottman Method for Healthy Relationships. The intention of this group is to provide an essential starting point to building the relationship you desire.
Please note: This is a future service offering. This will be updated once this offering is open to clients.
FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
-
I offer individual supervision for clinicians at any level and degree status in any of my areas of expertise. I have extensive experience supervising clinicians in undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral programs for several years at New York University, University of San Francisco, and in the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System.
My approach to supervision is informed by feminist and multicultural approaches to counseling that strive to create a safe, egalitarian space in our supervisory relationship. I collaborate with my supervisees to co-create our supervision space to effectively meet their needs and can move seamlessly between structured, manualized approaches and process-oriented approaches.
-
I offer online or in-person workshops for clinical, business, and/or academic organizations related to my areas of expertise. I can provide services from start to finish - workshop creation, facilitation, and debrief. I have offered workshops focused on therapist supervision, sexual trauma, allyship and anti-racist activism, coping skills, and stress management.
